Fox News analyst Andrew Napolitano directly quoted the Constitution to say why it’s wrong for President Donald Trump to host the G-7 at a resort he owns, calling it a “direct and profound” violation.

“He has bought himself an enormous headache now with the choice of this. This is about as direct and profound a violation of the Emoluments Clause as one could create,” Napolitano told Neil Cavuto on Cavuto: Coast to Coast.

Infowars was once banned on FreeRepublic. Perhaps Jim could ban citations of Napolitano. He is certainly less credible (and less entertaining) than Alex Jones.

I actually agree with Napolitano on this one.

I'll let Olson Johnson say it for me:

Nap needs to follow his boyfriend Sheppy out the door.

G7 is not an offical event. Guess that basic fact just went right past the Screaming Clown Posse’s head. It has no office or legal standing. It started as a informal meeting to of the industrialized powers to deal with the fall out of the 1973 Oil Embargo. It an informal meeting of heads of state. They can meet where ever they hell they want.

Nappy the Fag still pissed he didn’t get his SCOTUS appointment from President Trump.

BTW, 99.99% of the public doesn’t know what the hell “Emoluments” mean.

Does this putz ever get tired of being totally wrong. President Trump sure knew what he was doing when he rejected Napolitano’s plea to be nominated to the Supreme Court.

Do even think? There not nearly enough room at the WH for an event this large. Your statement is so utterly infantile and stupid one has to wonder how a complete mental incompetent like you even manged to turn on a computer.

The Donald knows this but is throwing this out there to get the Dems all charged up with “ we have him now”

He’ll spring this trap on them after they have hyped it for many days.

“Wrong! He made a statement that the Obama admin was working with allied intelligence organizations to spy on Trump. He then abruptly disappeared for a few weeks. He came back with a whole new point of view.”

I was shocked that he could be so small and petty. Somebody having something on him actually makes more sense. the new point of view was very sudden and not very reality based.

I’ve been trying to figure out how the president would be profiting from this if he only charges his cost. Up here in Canada, if you owned a business and only ever charged your customers your “cost”, you’d be closing your doors pretty darned quickly.

If no profit is made for Doral, there is nothing to see here except a possible savings for the taxpayers.

Did you listen to Mulvaney’s press conference today? https://youtu.be/Ns4QwN27P58

The property was the best of the 14 they looked at by far.

In order to avoid the appearance of impropriety the event will be done for cost. As a result G7/8 will cost USA several million dollars less than at any of the other properties under consideration and is uniquely suited for the event because of the many buildings. Each delegation can be housed in their own building.

There are 9000 acres so the site can be kept secured and the entire event can be in one spot. Mulvaney discussed how horrible the event functioned at Camp David in the past.

There is no impropriety. People who want to think evil can always find some mud to sling. Those kind of people can not be allowed to control our actions.
