Liberal policies in San Francisco are inflating California's homeless crisis and driving longtime residents out of the city, former mayoral candidate Richie Greenberg said Thursday.
Appearing on "Fox & Friends" with co-hosts Brian Kilmeade and Ainsley Earhardt, Greenberg said that as the state government has moved farther and farther to the left over the years -- adapting socialist ideals -- the homeless population has only grown.

By any chance, was he wearing his Captain Obvious costume when he said this?

Can you imagine living in SF, paying some of the highest housing prices in America for the privilege of living there, and having to watch where you step, so you don’t step in unmentionable residue?

I've seen the video couple of times. It doesn't paint a very flattering picture of the liberal leadership in Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles. They have literally and physically destroyed these places as human habitats.
There is no guarantee that homelessness would be less with conservative leadership but they would at least deal with the problem and come up with solutions to fix it.
Telling in this video is the scene under an overpass in California, where one side is clean and the other side of the road is a vagrant, homeless tent encampment. The clean side is in Culver City, which will not tolerate the mess, and the other side is some other city (I forgot which) that does nothing about it.
democRATic leadership only enables the homelessness problem to get worse and escalate into related problems like rampant drug-use, mental illness, unsanitary conditions, repetitive crimes, degradation of neighborhoods and businesses, influx of disease and petulance and a general disregard for the safety and security of the other citizens of these locales. And they can't understand why people are leaving these cities in hordes.
This video is a look into the future of this country if the democRATS get complete control of the government.

My ultra liberal SIL lives in Seattle. I sent this to her. She may never speak to me again.

Greenberg says that a major culprit is the non-profits -- in tandem with government funding -- that are based in the city who are "getting hundreds of millions collectively" to cater to the homeless community. It's like setting up mobile bars where alcoholics can go to get free drinks.

Well, I think Trump will win handily in 2020 but I'm not sure that will make a difference to the liberals who like to wallow in the disgusting mess they've made of their own cities.

Can you believe that under San Francisco Sec. 40 of the health code requires that you remove and dispose properly of any feces produced by your dog. Sec. 40c clarifies this requirement further by stating that you must also always carry some form of container or instrument to remove the feces, even if your dog has not yet gone to the bathroom.
But people can crap in the streets!
