This article is behind an bit. I believe it was either yesterday or this morning that Beto said if people don’t turn them over then police will come to their homes to confiscate the firearms.

Yes. He said they will "visit."

White haired lady at home, peering through lace curtains at agents coming up the walk.

"Land sakes, dear. Whose that in those black outfits?"

"Just get away from the window, honey. I'm fully loaded."

Beto's response during the debate last night was (paraphrasing) that he believed in the American people and that they would voluntarily proffer their AR-15s and AK-47s without needing the government or law enforcement to go door-to-door to confiscate them.

Even if he knew who all of the gun owners were, which he doesn't because there is not gun registry, there are not enough law enforcement personnel in the nation to come close to carrying out this bizarre plan of his. An bad idea not well thought out.

Yeah, that's the ticket, Beto. Law-abiding gun owners will just give up their 2nd Amendment rights voluntarily.

I don't think so.
