I don't care if she did or not. He was outside of her house. She had legal right to have gun, just like any of us. Trigger happy cop shot her, maybe on sight of gun or not. His fault, shame on anyone trying to make it her fault, blaming his situation on her being black.

I can see myself in the same situatioin--in my office at gun bench cleaning gun, I hear noise or see movement in backyard. I pick up gun to look. Trigger happy cop sees me with gun, shoots. My fault I didn't answer the door? Maybe he was following someone from neighborhood into my yard, whatever. Fact is he was in my yard, saw me with gun, shot me. That is close to what occured to this poor woman. It is wrong and indefensible and should scare and outrage all gun owners. The cop should be tried, convicted, AND executed as example to all cops to respect private gun owners, to respect civilians, to protect and serve, not spot and kill.

Calm down. It was bad, terrible police work, and a totally avoidable accident. Her family has an air tight civil case against the city. But it was not murder IMO.

Your points are valid, all normal law abiding citizens minding their own business, are at risk of being killed without warning in their own homes by cops like this.

Indeed, he IS special.
