9/11 was far more complex than US troops on Holy soil. It was much more about western culture eroding Muslim culture. The Imams saw their youth becoming westernized.
I’ve sat in foreign hotel rooms and watched American TV shows which have been dubbed in native languages. Foreigners have a VERY dim view of American culture based on the media we export.

Well said. I spent many yrs in the ME and N. Africa in a variety of capacities and witnessed this first hand. But we are targeted because of our postion of power.
