What is it about our public education, including after grad studies that causes a loss of common sense?
Learning and reciting an oath of allegiance, devotion, or whatever, and whether spoken or written, serves only the inherit purpose thereof.
This is not the only incident where American school children have been forced into publicly reciting the Islamic Shahada conversion creed, both orally and in writing it out.

There are many more incidences of this taking place all across the nation. What Islam cannot achieve through reason, it does so through trickery or even by the sword.
Remember this:
"It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin. It would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea than to cause one of these little ones to stumble."
It applies to all involved in this outrageous deception.
