She did not say the inquiry isn’t moving forward though...I am not seeing this as a win for Trump. Correct me if I’m wrong.....
She finally came out and said there will be no inquiry vote and it proves she has no intention of following the precedent already set in the House for previous impeachments.
She basically admits this impeachment attempt is strictly a partisan effort.
You’re right. If there’s a vote, then it becomes a legal proceeding that has to be conducted by the normal rules. She has prevented it from becoming this, and therefore, it can be conducted in secrecy with only one party present.
I think Trump should get aggressive and sue, because this is not Constitutional. The House and Senate make their own rules, but they cannot possibly be allowed to make rules that subvert the basic constitutional guarantees of rights and legality.
