The last of the Louisiana state election numbers are in and it's not pretty for the Democrats.
Not only does its moderate Democratic governor, John Bel Edwards, face a runoff as noted here, the state Senate has taken a supermajority. And a whole bunch of key state offices went squarely to Republicans. Funny how the press isn't covering this much.
But Guy Benson at Townhall is, and he found a Democratic Party "decimated":
Among statewide office-holders, the incumbent GOP Lieutenant Governor (68 percent), Attorney General (66 percent), Treasurer (60 percent, and Agricultural Commissioner (58 percent) were all re-elected without the need for a run-off, under the state's 'jungle primary'-style system. It also appears that the solid Republican majorities in both state legislative chambers will remain intact -- with the GOP expanding its Senate advantage into super-majority territory by picking up a pair of Democratic seats:

But But BUT.. Mom, Apple Pie, Salute the flag..
The DEms are for that and more.. How can this be??
OH wait.. I guess poop does flow upriver after all.
Nanny and her wrecking crew proved that.
We cannot continue to produce progressives. If we continue down this path, all of the progress being made is for nothing.
How many GOP’ers will not turn out because their guy is no longer in the race?
Probably very few, considering the ringing endorsement that Abraham gave to Rispone, and the fact that Abraham is going to actively campaign for Rispone. That’s not something that many politicians typically do. There isn’t any bad blood there.
They both want JBE beat. Impeachment isn’t playing well in Louisiana.
Abrahams has already endorsed Rispone.
And President Trump will come back to campaign for him. Helps the President is enormously popular in LA.
Rispone should win the run off and LA will have a GOP Governor.

While I appreciate what Cary Poarch did by exposing CNN, the fact that he was a Bernie Sanders supporter in 2016 makes it very questionable as to how much support he should receive from conservatives and other Trump supporters.
The left is quick to throw its people under the bus, but if they never have an awakening to conservative values, should conservatives be the ones picking up the pieces of their wrecked lives?
I’m not suggesting I know the answer to this. Just asking.
Pretty sure in the video he says he was cured of the diseases called liberalism and socialism. I generally don’t give to GoFundMe’s, but in this case I feel he sacrificed a career and will have a difficult few years ahead.
Ha! The gop can easily screw this up.
Can o' whup-ass! Thanks rktman.
I knew there was one, had to check:

[snip] Within U.S. states, Nebraska is currently the only state with a unicameral legislature; after a statewide vote, it changed from bicameral to unicameral in 1937. A 2018 study found that efforts to adopt unicameralism in Ohio and Missouri failed due to rural opposition. There was a fear in rural communities that unicameralism would diminish their influence in state government. [/snip]
It's a mystery...
Yep, a REAL whistleblower - not some deep state CIA thug:
