I think the Dems have put themselves in an impossible position AND the only solution is for this 12 to say they do not have enough evidence to support impeachment....and there will be no vote.
And it's back to the drawing board.

Schiff acts like he’s a judge running a Grand Jury......but there’s a monumental distinction:....
a grand jury is a criminal proceeding. Impeachment is a political process in which
the House gathers evidence to define the meaning of “high crimes and misdemeanors.”
Schiff wants it both ways:
<><> Run secret committees hearings like a criminal Grand Jury......
<><> then impeach Mr. Trump of political offenses even if the President committed no crime.
IOW, he’s already made up his mind....Trump is guilty of something........so let’s nail him.
Schiff was challenged on his committee’s unheard of secrecy and his response on Sunday talk TV was frightening:
“we want to make sure that we meet the needs of the investigation (and the hell with Pres Trump’s Constitutional right to be heard).
There will never be a vote. What they have to vote on is ridiculous and they have to spell it all out to have something to vote on and that will look silly on its own
This is all about creating fear, uncertainty, doubt and fatigue for the next 12 months to hurt Trump’s strong re-election chances.
Pretty bad when you use limited and controlled investigative processes to harm a political opponent.
Oops, that is what Trump supposedly did. O that is right always accuse your opponent of being what you are.
