Ex-Bush Aide Has Damning Theory For Why Trump Supporters Won't Turn On Him (LOL)
Yahoo! News ^ | October 14, 2019 | Ed Mazza, Huffington Post

Peter Wehner said there’s a reason why many of President Donald Trump’s most loyal supporters won’t turn on him.

“It is almost like a hermetically sealed world,” Wehner said on CNN’s “Reliable Sources.” “Facts are like BBs, they’re just bouncing off of a brick wall. They just don’t penetrate.”

Wehner, who served in the administrations of presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush and as a senior aide in the White House of President George W. Bush, said it comes down to a concept called the psychology of accommodation.

“People decided early on for a variety of reasons to accommodate themselves to Donald Trump, some of them thinking that things would get better, that he would grow in office, that he would be surrounded by good people,” Wehner said.

Instead, Trump has gotten worse. But because of their early accommodation of the president, these voters are essentially stuck with him.

GD, so you remember a time when (some) opinion pieces could be honest/fair, yet still disagree with respect to policy?

With Trump, it's a constant and complete dismissal of what will be eventually recorded as his greatest accomplishment: the Trump economy. So, here we have yet another partisan opinion piece ostensibly asking the question why?, when it's quite evident to anyone living in the world.

The Trump economy is going so strong that it's even brimming over the border. We were down in Baja this weekend, and in all the years I've been going, this was as busy/thriving as I've witnessed. For examples, used to be the majority of MX citizens only had old smokey beaters. Now, natives have as many new cars as visiting Americans.

Sh!t, we tried to beat rush hour to get back over the border this am, and there was a rush hour in the maquiladora zone (south TJ) worthy of Silicon valley @ 6:30am! Secondly, whatever Trump told/threatened/rewarded MX leadership, the border is completely under control @ San Ysidro.

Heck, there were so many new cars with Baja license plates going into SD that once again, it almost looked like a tri-state area back east. (Calif is so big you never see out of state plates during normal commute.)

So, we get this low-tech propaganda denigrating 100s of millions of people enjoying what might be the strongest economy on record, yet the opposition still gets up and does it duty trying to either depress supporters (ain't happening) or prop up the sorry left.

OR MAYBE;

KNARF said there’s a reason why many of President obama’s most loyal supporters won’t turn on him.

“It is almost like a hermetically sealed world,” KNARFsaid on FRreeRepublic “Facts are like BBs, they’re just bouncing off of a brick wall. They just don’t penetrate.”

KNARF, who observed the administrations of presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush and as a senior citizen in the United States said it comes down to a concept called the psychology of accommodation.

“People decided early on for a variety of reasons to accommodate themselves to Barak Hussein Obama, some of them thinking that things would get better, that he would grow in office, that he would be surrounded by good people,” KNARF said.

Instead, obama had gotten worse. But because of their early accommodation of the president, these voters are essentially stuck with him. “Now it’s not just a defense of obama. It’s a defense of their defense of obama,” KNARFsaid. “To indict him is to indict themselves, and to indict their own judgment, and that’s hard for any human being.”

The result: “They will defend him regardless of what happens, come hell or high water.”

In 2008, obama bragged that his supporters were so loyal that not even murder could shake them.

“I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue, shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters,” he said.

(Or was that Clinton?)

GHWB ushered in the NWO. He’s no hero.
This is what we’re fighting today.
This is why we elected PDJT to take our country back.

Trump has made our lives better, which apparently means the Bush-bots lives will be worse. It don't have to be like that. They can stop their criminal ways and work for repentance.

I can’t speak for others, but personally I give Trump a pass because I absolutely hate the corrupt socialist/communist scum that opposes him; detest the bribed RINOs who want to prevent him from being effective; abhor the entrenched government employees who live to control our “government” against the will of our elected President; want to vomit on most of the “news media”; and, can’t stomach robed crooks who ravage the Constitution via one-man rule from the bench. To the extent that Trump, for all his many faults, defecates on these rogues, he’s the Man. That is despite his verbal jitterbug, his foolish tweets, his general ignorance and crassness, his (falsely) alleged racism, and, especially, his horrific personnel choices.

The GOP-e’s childhood friends are nothing to mess with! Some of them also apparently haunt the Five Nights at Freddy’s video game.

Excellent summary of economic reality in Mexico and California versus the mediot reality:

We get this low-tech propaganda denigrating 100s of millions of people enjoying what might be the strongest economy on record, yet the opposition still gets up and does it duty trying to either depress supporters (ain't happening) or prop up the sorry left.

We now have Gorsuch and Kananaugh instead of a couple of Ginsberg clones along with 148 other federal judges. We are only starting to see the effect of that.

The effect of another Trump term on the Supreme Court would be an almost unimaginable win. I look forward to it.

Well, Wehner is like a giant turd that floats and stinks and is hard to flush in cheap toilets. So there, we can name-call too... what an ass (to carry my theme forward...)

Yes!
Trump is a brashy trashy talking New Yorker... not really my kinda guy.
But he is the RIGHT GUY for this job at this point in time.

I ALWAYS have one eye cocked to see if he goes south... too many before him with promise that burned the folks.
But every time I’ve had big reservations... Trump has come Through.
