I like to keep my ears open when I travel. Just came back from a 10-day trek. In Nashville, there's concern that CA companies are buying up lots of real estate.

CA is crazy-land, a cancer that shouldn't be allowed to spread. Are they still welcoming invaders with open arms, while that can't provide basic needs for their citizens? Do their windmills, solar panels and electric cars function when the grid is down?

I live in CA.. When my power was out for two days last week, I had no phones. My AT&T cell phones were out as well as my house phone. I had no way of knowing if there was a fire coming at me, no way of calling 911 in case of an emergency; oh, and we had NO WIND. NONE!
