“plus he needed time for them to expose themselves.”

That’s the point: He should have fired them wholesale, not “wait for them to expose themselves”. That’s when it would be too late. It doesn’t take a politician to know this. Any executive knows not to keep prior executive staff due to misplaced loyalties.

“Trump thought he could play nice with DC Elites”....yet ran on a platform of draining the swamp. Sorry, that’s negligence, not just a mistake.

An executive runs only a company, whereas the President runs an entire country. So the analogy does not fit. There are many more places where the spies can hide in a bloated government than in a business, even a bloated business. Hindsight is always much greater than foresight. While some of the problem lies within the upper echelons of government agencies, there are many who reside in government positions as well, that can cause an equal amount of harm, as we have seen. Problem is they are protected by Civil Service.

Like I said though, President Trump is a fast learner.

Um, yes, the analogy does fit.

No, it doesn’t. It’s akin to comparing apples to oranges.

How would Fiona Hill have first hand information about Trump’s conversation with Ukraine?
