The Mueller inquisition was just a massive, taxpayer funded ops research on Trump and his campaign. The clamor for the release of the grand jury information by the Dems indicates to me that they know what is in there and want it made public to hurt Trump. I haven't the slightest doubt that Weissmann was keeping Schiff and Warner informed about what was happening within the investigation and advised as to what to ask for. Totally corrupt.
My guess is the two Ukraine associates were plants by the DNC into the Trump campaign.
