“What are the alternatives to Amazon?”
Search function, and a tad more effort. Seems Amazon has made spending your money just too easy. If we look through search for an item we want/need we don’t need all our information pre loaded at Amazon. Just take a few minutes more at another site, and VOILA! I have many I shop from just to avoid Amazon.
Regrettably the media and the alphabet agencies have made it easy to hear all of us. Info was released in my local this AM by local news. Do you or yours have a flat screen TV ?
Amazon posted a list that we can laugh at...
Im curious, which monopoly does it have?
Amazon is a publicly traded corporation. How can it have political positions? Whose positions are these? The CEOs? The Boards? Not the shareholders.
In my local this AM the local news media stated that the smart TVs can both act as a transmitter and receiver. Smile .... for the camera
What are the alternatives to Amazon?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have never sent a penny to amazon and I get along just fine.
I’m locked in on Prime, but I feel there’s no alternative now but to try to boycott them.
To do my part for climate change I’m going to order one thing at a time so each item has its own box and had to be delivered individually by a fossil fuel vehicle!
I have prime as well . I just disregard their political opinions. I could care less what bezos thinks.
Dude! Just deliver my #$@% on-time and in one piece!
I dont care if you are flat-earthers.
Just not from us . . .
Thanks.
So devious and evil it would make the old robber barrons blush.
Like price dropping long enough to destroy competitors.
What a conundrum. “progressives” trying to stamp out progress.
You’ll change your tune if our lack of support for their climate change battle results in endangered insects going extinct. There actually is such a long, long list including hundreds like the obscure Hewitson’s small tree-nymph, the ever popular dytascids, Drepanosticta ceratophora and Chiriquita shadowdamsel. /s
Leftist billionaires are only trying to help.
Bezos is very familiar with economies of scale.
On logistics and good customer service...not a fan of Bezos but I’ve had better service from them than any company i can think of
Overstock.com
Walmart.com
ebay.com
Even if these companies are not so great, it is better to have competition, than to give Amazon a monopoly.
For books, I recommend Half Price Books (hpb.com). Not my favorite for some of their positions, but not, as someone else says, Amazon.
Also, for more specific items you can always try smaller sites that specialize in the interest.
