Yes, far from over. But 31% in now, Edwards still at 46

New Orleans always reports last after they determine how many votes they need to manufacture to put the Dem over the top.

This seems to be a common theme in the DEMS strongholds

From what I am seeing in the numbers, I would guess that Edwards stays in the 46-47 percent range and must go to a two man runoff. He is shown at 46.3 percent now on the NY Times election page (not bad for a biased newspaper) with 42 percent of the vote in.

Remember, its not about having the most votes to win.

It is having enough votes to overcome the other side’s cheating and fraud.

46% is too close to 51%!

N.O is nowhere the Dem machine it used to be. Rest of the state is solid Red - Trump country.

Will be an easy win for Trump in 2020.

An incumbent is hard to beat and Edwards is doing as well as he is because he’s Governor.

He doesn’t have coattails for statewide Democrats.

It was the NYT website that showed me that Trump was going to win the election back in 2016 - hours before the TV networks called it.

Can't believe all the defeatists and doom criers on this thread. This is looking to be a good night for Trump and the GOP in LA.

Hard to twist that.

GOP swept every statewide office and has the legislature, the congressional delegation and both US Senate seats.
