I might add that I cannot believe how many threads have been posted here at FR about Shep Smith’s departure.
In the great scheme of things, the career of one limp-wristed newscaster doesn’t seem to be of any great moment.

Because we were at a loss with no one to kick around anymore when we got rid of Alan... Shep-dip was Alan's stand-in... Now were are screwed again... Although with the Wisconsin soy-boy on the board of directors, we'll probably have Shep-dip's replacement soon...

Smith was a local tv reporter ABC i think in FL... one of his co- reporters at the same station— who is still at Fox— is Trace Gallagher.
Smith was always a poofter, female acting drama queen reporter.
Hume seemed to be impressed with Smith— for some damn reason— “best in the biz” etc. But that was after Britt’s son suicided (a true tragedy devastated Brit Hume).
