With President Trump actively distorting the truth and many of his own colleagues helping him do it, the Fox News star prided himself on anchoring a newscast that countered the network's pro-Trump opinion shows. The way Smith saw it, he was making sure that accurate information was getting on Fox's air. "I wonder," he told a Time magazine reporter last year, "if I stopped delivering the facts, what would go in its place in this place that is most watched, most listened, most viewed, most trusted? I don't know."

Of course I want to full story on Shep but CNN sure as hell won’t deliver it. All I know is AG Barr spoke with Murdock and within days or hours Shep was escorted out of the building. Probably in violation of some law or espionage. He is pure scum, and should have been fired based on Katrina coverage (if not sooner).
Shep sure was. It's called editorializing. His comments about upholding journalistic standards are pure BS. He was the opposite of a journalist. I don't care about a person's sexual orientation, color or whatever as long as they report the news accurately and with as little bias as possible. Opinion shows are TV's editorial page. The news department should just report the bare facts and let the viewers decide. I'm glad to see Shep the fraud gone.
Because we were at a loss with no one to kick around anymore when we got rid of Alan... Shep-dip was Alan's stand-in... Now were are screwed again... Although with the Wisconsin soy-boy on the board of directors, we'll probably have Shep-dip's replacement soon...

Indeed - most enlightening to hear from that beacon and fountain of factual information - CNN’s Brian Stelter.
He must have seen his numbers.
I don’t believe this for a second. The network was already left-leaning and you’d think they’d welcome his everyday comments.

Good riddance! I knew Shep was a fake journalist when I watched him cover the Hurricane Katrina story where he was an eye witness to hundreds of people stranded on the freeway above the undrinkable floodwaters in hundred-degree heat dying of heatstroke and thirst while city trucks repeatedly drove by. never once dropping off drinking water to those poor people.
Shep saw this for days an never took the New Orleans mayor to task for not having easily available drinking water despite city/federal hurricane preparation exercises that required stockpiles of drinking water. But then, the mayor was black and Shep directed his criticisms solely at President Bush and ignored the mayor’s corruption and incompetence.
Shep saw this atrocity yet refused to name or blame the culprit because he was black. I knew then that Shep was an intellectual coward who groveled before the Race Card and would be more at home at CNN than at Fox.
What load of manure that claim is.
