In yet another case, a group of us “retired military folks” suggested that the CCC be reformed to CLEANUP & FIX UP the parks & national monuments, when RWR was in office.
(We were told that President Reagan was in favor of the idea.)
We were told that we couldn’t meet with our HoR member (despite the fact that we had made appointments to see him/her) UNLESS we had $$$$$$$$$ to give him/her.
It’s all about the money.
