An Oklahoma sheriffs department defied ICE and released an accused rapist from jail this week and within hours he was back at the door of his alleged victim, the agency said Thursday, saying the countys sanctuary policy put the woman at risk.
Antonio Ulises Perez was charged with first-degree rape on Sept. 30, and made bond early Wednesday morning. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement had asked that he be transferred to the custody of deportation officers, but the sheriffs department refused, and released him instead.
Within a few hours of being released, this illegal alien was back at the home of the rape victim where he was free to re-victimize her and harm other members of the community, said Marc Moore, director of ICEs Dallas field office.
He said deportation officers were able to track Mr. Perez down and he is now in custody awaiting deportation proceedings.
The county sheriffs department did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the incident.

A dead rapist cannot rape again
Things are worse than I thought.
I got right through and talked to the Sheriff. This story is false. ICE dropped the ball. They told ICE that he was about to be released. They were only able to hold him for 2 hours since charges had not been officially brought. ICE works in the same building with the Sheriff but they didnt respond until he had been released.
He was released because there were no charges pending. Apparently whoever complained didnt want to file charges. They held him for 2 hours. They held him as long as they could.
Damn, there ought o be a LAW!
Oklahoma???????
“He was released because there were no charges pending. Apparently whoever complained didnt want to file charges. They held him for 2 hours. They held him as long as they could.”
Sorry, but I’m sick of giving ILLEGAL RAPISTS the benefit of the doubt. If they’re here ILLEGALLY, they have NO RIGHT to be released, under ANY circumstances.
I say LET THEM KNOW that putting Americans in danger is simply NOT ACCEPTABLE, and perhaps they’ll try a bit harder than just a Sunday morning E-Mail.
So, is there a time limit as to how long the County can hold someone. Does ICE only have 2 hours or they let him go? Or did they notify ICE as he was walking out the door?
The Oklahoma County sheriffs department fully cooperates with ICE.
If you want to bitch about sanctuary cities, Id suggest you call one of their police departments.
Hi.
May I suggest castrating Antonio Ulises Perez?
5.56mm
Tell that to the Washington Times...it’s OBVIOUS that this bunch was PROTECTING an ILLEGAL RAPIST.
Perhaps next time they’ll give a crap about Americans.
Speaking of jury nullification, make sure you understand it, and make sure every young person you know understands it. They are often not taught about this in school.
I’d like to think the OCSO has a press person that should have released a statement on this to counter the several articles already in the media.
Something tells me there’s more to this than what you were told by OCSO.
Thanks for your posts.
So the FBI has placed the county Sheriff under arrest, right?
The Washington Times ran with a fake story before even speaking to the Sheriff. They said they werent available for comment. I was able to get right through and spoke with the Sheriff.
OKLAHOMA COUNTY is NOT a sanctuary county. The headline is FAKE NEWS.
Sorry, but if they want to advertise themselves as a SANCTUARY COUNTY, they need to understand that not everyone will be happy with that.
It’s time they MAN-UP and learn how to hold their felons for more than 2 hours, particularly if they’re Illegal.
So the county couldn't charge him with being in the country illegally? I'm not being snarky, I really want to understand what "law" or "policy" they are adhering to that claims they can only hold someone who, by definition is a criminal due to his illegal status, for a limited amount of time.
The headline is fake news. Oklahoma County is not a sanctuary county. If the headline is fake, why would you believe the story?
Oklahoma County is one of the good guys. They fully cooperate with ICE.
