Liberal-run states are very dark, dark places. Literally.
CA did this to themselves.
They’re taking a shortcut on their pilgrimage to Venezuela.
But how will the Tesla drivers get around and show everyone how environmental conscious they are???
Utter idiocy.
California does things like this, relating to drought, to air quality and now potential fire, to show the power of the state.
Practice for California preppers ?
California is not going to get better.
It’s going to get worse.
Most of calis fires start deliberately by people (firebugs or idiots), this will not stop that.
Can’t be too careful.
Wouldn’t want to be blamed and fined for any more wildfires now, would we?
Carbon credits by nigh
Many new preppers being created. Will they stop voting marx-o-crat?
That’s not the real reason. They probably don’t have enough power.
Well, at least the value of my property in Idaho is increasung. Thanks, California!
Maybe they can break out their stash of scented aroma therapy candles to help them make it through the night.
“But power cannot be restored until 45 helicopters and 6,000 ground crews inspect every inch of the shut power lines to make sure they are in working order and not damaged.
Those inspections and repairs will take days, officials said. The power may be out in some areas for as many as five days after the winds die down. Utility officials said they will attempt to restore power on a priority basis, but have not said what priority determinations they plan to make.”
Most of the areas where the power is shut off are conservative counties. Coincidence?
I need to go to Target, and get me a battery op Transistor Radio tomorrow. I’m about 15 miles north of San Fran. So far the local electricity remains on.
Maybe PG&E will keep the electricity off permanently.
The people in the dark deserve it. Their voting record has borne it’s perfect fruit.
And Trump was an idiot for calling for proper forest management
Theres no reason many of these lines couldnt have been moved underground and proper forest/grass management couldnt have been started years ago
Has anyone in the areas affected by this power shutdown made note of increased generator sales lately?
Several weeks ago, PG&E announced that on occasion of the annual Santa Ana wind phenomena, power would be shut off in selected areas.
If I still lived in Kali-Fornia (I got smart and left in 1994!), I’d have a big ass, whole house diesel generator READY TO GO!
Kali-Fornia preppers, anyone?
