Same thing with the Brit who owns Triumph motorcycles. Settled here after meeting (and marrying an American woman) and Triumph is now-based in Georgia. Doesnt want to head back to the UK.

Um, no. John Bloor is the owner of Triumph Motorcycles, bought it at the bankruptcy auction, and he definitely lives in the UK. Swadlincote, South Derbyshire, to be precise.
