As measles deaths in the Democratic Republic of the Congo top 4,000

UNICEF is vaccinating thousands more children against measles and rushing life-saving medicines to health centers across the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), as deaths from the world’s largest measles outbreak top 4,000.

Since January, 203,179 cases of measles have been reported in all 26 provinces of the country, and 4,096 have died. Children under the age of five represent 74 per cent of infections and nearly 90 per cent of deaths. The number of measles cases in DRC this year is more than triple the number recorded for all of 2018. The measles outbreak in DRC has become far deadlier than Ebola, which to date, has taken 2,143 lives.

“We’re fighting the measles epidemic on two fronts - preventing infections and preventing deaths,” said UNICEF Representative in the DRC, Edouard Beigbeder. “Along with the government and key partners, UNICEF has been racing to vaccinate children against measles, and at the same time, supplying clinics with medicines that treat symptoms and improve the chance of survival for those already infected.”

Seems to me we've sent, and HAVE been sending gazillions of dollars all OVER Africa for medical purposes: vaccinations, AIDS medication, education and instruction to better their lives ... etc.

4,000 MEASLES deaths ?

WTF, ovah ....

There are 110 trillion mosquitos in the world today...14,000 for every human alive.

Mosquitos are responsible for the death of half of the people who have ever lived.

We have the technology to eliminate all mosquitos.

Should We Wipe Mosquitoes Off The Face Of The Earth?

I just learned that mosquitos are the number one food source for hummingbirds.

Alexander The Great is believed (by some) to have died in Egypt from West Nile Virus from a mosquito bite.

The rise of measles cases after it had been nearly wiped out is an indictment against the international establishment and the establishment in the United States. In 2015 the Washington Post reported:
“2000, the United States declared that measles had been eliminated. But the country experienced a record number of measles cases last year, while an outbreak this month that began at Disneyland has been linked to dozens of cases in California and other states.” How the U.S. went from eliminating measles to a measles outbreak at Disneyland, the Washington Post, Jan. 23, 2015
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2015/01/23/how-the-u-s-went-from-eliminating-measles-to-a-measles-outbreak-at-disneyland/

This trajedy can be directly linked to the Gaia-worshiping looney left, anti-vaccination nuts, and the pharmaceutical industry.

How many times can the lunacy of the left destroy our way of life before the American public has had enough of this dystopian movement?

GWB sent millions if not billions to Africa years ago to fight AIDS. All that is gone? Now the Congo has both the measles and Ebola on top of AIDS. Many patients escape from the hospitals because they distrust the doctors. Many bereaved families dig up the bodies of Ebola dead, in order to go through certain rituals. Thus spreading the disease.

'Some' don't know what they're talking about. That he died from a febrile illness is known from surviving accounts. But it certainly wasn't in Egypt, it was in Persia! He hadn't been in Egypt in years.

"I just learned that mosquitos are the number
one food source for hummingbirds."

But humming birds are only found in the Western Hemisphere.
And there are hardly enough of them to deal with
with all of those mosquitoes. Most of their short
lives are spent sipping nectar from flowers.

Actually, some great Christian leaders have come from Africa, such as Cardinal Francis Arinze, Anglican Archbishop Peter Akinola and Cardinal Robert Sarah.

Did Alexander The Great Die From West Nile?
(Most accounts say he died in Babylon)

Makes no difference to me.

Babylon was part of the Persian Empire... before Alexander annexed it to his empire. The article doesn’t say he died in Egypt. Article speculates cause of death was West Nile, one of many medical speculations as to that over the years. Maybe efforts to read the charcoal briquettes library from Herculaneum will turn up copies of the two lost contemporaneous biographies of Alexander and prove ‘new’ medical clues.
