I seriously doubt that anyone in the DC Swamp gives a damn about this law. Or any other law for that matter.

If a Democrat is running for office and winning there is no law or rule or guideline that can’t be ignored. The important thing is that they have the correct view on abortion. Really if you have the correct view on abortion pretty much every progressive position will follow by nature.
Our DOJ seems to believe the Hobbs act doesn’t exist. There have been numerous cases over many years when the Hobbs act has been violated and convincing evidence clearly set out in just news reports. But there is something in the water (or bourbon) which shrinks the testicles and government lawyers become social scientists and spineless.
These Departments really need to be relocated to mid-America.
To the Swamp, laws are tools you use to smite your enemies, curry favor with your friends, and gain votes during election time.
Biden seems stunned and astonished that he is being held accountable for his corruption. He simply cannot believe it is happening. It becoming real to him as his poll numbers begin to drop and his donors disappear. The man is absolutely bewildered and simply cannot fully comprehend what is happening to him. Being held accountable is beyond his ordinary experience. Yet somehow he could identify the fingerprints on that knife in his back, they would belong to Hillary.
Hillary wasn’t sunk by Servergate. Corrupt Joe isn’t going down on Ukraine. I wish it was different but it is what it is.

Actually, it is different because Biden will go down one way or another whether it's dropping out of the race or going to jail (doubtful, that one though) for the same reason Hillary hasn't been sunk by anything: she has protection and influence within the Deep State and the media. While she missed again at getting the President—I certainly do not think it's a coincidence that she reemerged at the same time the whistleblower scam hit—she can get anyone in the RAT field and right now it's Biden whom she and her minions figured would be a happy bit of collateral damage to get rid of Trump but failing that, would still be a piece moved out of her way to the 2020 nomination.
