In Dr. Henry Cloud’s books “Boundaries” and “Boundaries with Kids”, he discusses the difference between healthy and unhealthy boundaries.
The immature child and toxic narcissist confuses tolerance with endorsement. That if you love them, you have to agree with them and cheer them no matter what. That if you disagree with them or tell them no, it is only because you hate them and want to hurt them.
This is how liberals can demand silencing dissenting opinions in the name of love. By their own definitions, anyone who dissents can only do so because of “hate”.
They profess the opposite. Even the names they give themselves, "liberal," "progressive" are lies, for they are in fact the opposite.
It's like George Orwell's nightmare:
