Instead, the American voting political middle is ignorant and therefore stupid. Being the passive recipient of the few thousand outlets of news and worldview shaping originating from perhaps a dozen or so first-source primary information sources (Associated Press, NYT, WaPo, three networks, cables, NPR, a few others), middle America holds the world view and vague grasp of falsehoods and facts received passively from the many secondary and tertiary outlets of news, entertainment, and opion.
Facts are irrelevant. Middle American never hears 90% of the relevant facts, and the 10% of content it does hear is about half-false and 100% distorted. What the several sources of news CLAIM are facts are relevant. And these are dishonest.
So we can sit here all day and call Pelosi a fool, but that is a waste of time as long as the Associated Press still functions.

The Congress ‘INTELLIGENCE’ Commitee chair (hard to say, write or think that combine without snickering.) makes up a mock version of the transcript, reads it into the record (without interruption) and when ‘called’ on it calls it a ‘spoof’.
Now, the Speaker of the House says Schiff make up version was not made up....

What you say is true, but I think the number of people, including many non-conservatives and non-Republicans, getting their news from alternative sources is increasing. The MSM is the only thread keeping the Democrat Party viable by not reporting their many misdeeds. If there is a way found to penetrate that media wall of deception, and get unfiltered news to the American public at large the Democrat Party will implode big time, but that’s a big IF!
