I get you, but rain is preferable to drought and wildfires, here. Both the flora and fauna were suffering for the past 4-5 weeks.

Here in the west end of Tennessee as well. Actually, I was down from an infected wasp sting, of all things. Aside from that, it was Monday.

I eat so much roasted garlic and sauteed onions, that I’ve never been stung by a bee, wasp or mosquito, in the past 40yrs.

My theory: If your breath smells like garlic & onions, you’re my friend. If you smell like Listerine and Pepsodent or Crest, we’re not talking.

I’m worried about my Jap Maple. I will need to bring a hose from the back yard to get to it. Big pain in the arse. Should I or will it be OK?

Water, water, water it deeply, at a trickle, 2-3hrs/day. It needs water
at the deep rootball level, or the top and other parts won’t make it for spring.

Are the leaves drying out or curling or dropping off, yet?
