Russian President Vladimir Putin and some of his top officials took a break from state affairs ahead of Putin’s birthday, spending a few days hiking, hillwalking, and even driving offroad in the thick of the Siberian wilderness. Days off are a rare occurrence in Putin’s tight schedule. When he manages to get a few of them away from the Kremlin, he usually spends the time in the country’s wilderness enjoying the nature and its calm.
This time, the Russian president chose the Siberian taiga forest to go on a hike ahead of his October 7 birthday.

Why do these “Strongmen” always like to do those outdoor things. They never show them playing badmitten or putt-putt golf...
And I would consider Putin a “Strongman” verus and out and out dictator. The distinction is small but there is one. I don’t trust him, but then again, he is out for his own and his country’s interests...so there is that I suppose. They, (Russia) rattle cages once in a while but pretty much keep to their backyard...
Quite frankly, if leaders realize that Russia has always been a paranoid country and wishes to be taken seriously, then relations might go far. If the Deep State hadn’t mucked things up so bad, Trump could have had set relations with Russia that would have been in both country’s interest. It doesn’t have to be a Zero Sum game. Both countries need to win—or have a piece of the pie, so to speak. Same with China and even North Korea...and even Iran....(but theya re pretty nutso)
Putin wishes he had half of Trump’s brain. He is a red idiot and not to be trusted with a bag of chips.
Screw him.

Don’t disagree...but for the moment we have to get along with these people on the planet...The alternative is not something I wish to contemplate for now.
Trump has Putin in check. Rocketman is another story, as is Iran.
