Zaid tells ABC News' Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos that the second person -- also described as an intelligence official -- has first-hand knowledge of some of the allegations outlined in the original complaint and has been interviewed by the head of the intelligence community's internal watchdog office, Michael Atkinson.

The President is outside the preview of the whisleblower statute as is doesn’t work for the intelligence community....
If this is about the same conversation, the Office of Legal Counsel has already ruled that tattling about the President is not covered under the WB law, so this complaint should never be forwarded to the committee by the IG. If the IG continues to refuse to follow OLC commands, he should be fired.
Fake News.....
The way this thing is taking off, it appears No-No Nancy was assiduously working behind the scenes
while holding pressers to publicly deny impeachment.
“This is likely the one from the inside who leaked it to the original WB and is now trying to use WB protection to keep from being exposed for leaking classified information”
That’s how I see it too. Neither should be protected at the matter is outside the purview of the ICIG.
Trump did not write the transcript, he only spoke...A stenographer type person wrote it (and a few heard it being spoken who agree with the written report)...So it's that person's word against the new, fake whistleblower...
So what's first hand knowledge mean??? The WB heard it from someone who listened in on the call, or the WB was one of the few listening to the call??? I would suspect the latter in which it should take much to root out the lying mole...

Attorney Andrew Bakaj tells me his legal team is representing MULTIPLE officials who will be making disclosures to the Intelligence Community Inspector General. He says “No further comment at this time.”

The democrats are pandering to their base. And they are counting on defectors from the GOP to bail on Trump in this process because of who he is. The validity of the accusations are beside the point, theyre designed to fire up their base for 2020 and the defectors need an excuse so impeachment in the house is gravy. And you know they believe they can get some votes from GOP in the senate.
For some reason ‘Wack a mole’ comes to mind.
Aren’t whistleblowers supposed to blow the whistle about wrong doing in their OWN departments?
Now it says MULTIPLE BLOWERS....LOL
Fred Fleitz, president of the Center for Security Policy, served in 2018 as deputy assistant to the president and to the chief of staff of the National Security Council. He previously held national-security jobs with the CIA, the DIA, the Department of State, and the House Intelligence Committee staff. He remarks on the whistleblower complaint.
"I am troubled by the complaint and wonder how an intelligence officer could file it over something a president said to a foreign leader. How could this be an intelligence matter? It appears likely to me that this so-called whistleblower was pursuing a political agenda."
" I am very familiar with transcripts of presidential phone calls since I edited and processed dozens of them when I worked for the NSC. I also know a lot about intelligence whistleblowers from my time with the CIA. My suspicions grew this morning when I saw the declassified whistleblowing complaint. It appears to be written by a law professor and includes legal references and detailed footnotes. It also has an unusual legalistic reference on how this complaint should be classified."
" From my experience, such an extremely polished whistleblowing complaint is unheard of. This document looks as if this leaker had outside help, possibly from congressional members or staff. Moreover, it looks like more than a coincidence that this complaint surfaced and was directed to the House Intelligence Committee just after Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), an outspoken opponent of President Trump, expressed numerous complaints in August 2019 accusing President Trump of abusing aid to Ukraine to hurt Joe Biden. This includes an August 28 tweet that closely resembled the whistleblowing complaint."
" House Republicans need to ask the whistleblower under oath whether he spoke to the press or Congress about his complaint."
" Also very concerning to me is how the complaint indicates intelligence officers and possibly other federal employees are violating the rules governing presidential phone calls with foreign leaders."
"The content and transcripts of these calls are highly restricted. The whistleblower makes clear in his complaint that he did not listen to a call in question, nor did he read the transcript he was told about the call by others. If true, intelligence officers have grossly violated the rules as well as the trust placed on them to protect this sensitive information."
" I refuse to believe that the leaking, timing and presentation of this complaint is coincidence. I dont think the American people will buy this either. Im more worried, however, that this latest instance of blatant politicization of intelligence by Trump haters will do long term damage to the relationship between the intelligence community and US presidents for many years to come."

That report makes sense. Theres a whole cabal of intelligence officials who now need whistleblower protection because their role as co-conspirators with Adam Schiff and his staff has been exposed.
Gee, So why didnt this eye witness file the initial complaint?
Next.
The intel community is synonymous with the Deep State.
JoMa
NEXT WEEK A WHOLE BUS LOAD OF BLOWERS TO COME FORWARD...LOL
the CorruptFakeNewsMSM will go along with all of this nonsense. President Trump must never think, speak, act.
they are the powerful, along with their Deep State allies.
