Four People Killed, Nine Injured in Shooting in Kansas - Reports

My wife grew up in a neighborhood not far from that spot. It was a nice area. A number of years later she was in the area with our kids and decided to show them where she grew up. Men came out and pounded on her car. She hit the gas and got out as quickly as she could. It is amazing how fast neighborhoods can deteriorate.
“Detectives are looking for surveillance video of the area. Officers cleared the bar early Sunday morning and were waiting on a search warrant to re-enter it.”
I wonder why they need a search warrant to enter and control a crime scene that resulted in deaths....
Is climate change admissable as “probable cause” for a warrant yet?
Don’t know. That’s a good question. Maybe they want access to more in the business property than the space containing the scene of the crime, but that’s only speculation on my part.
An off duty Wyandotte sheriff’s deputy was killed at his home Saturday night...

Yup. Not as much jumping as usual if no AR was involved. Every time one of these mass killings happens I get a knot in my gut knowing what’s coming. Because too many fidiots out there believe what the lames will be spewing.

Nope, that area, as is most of formerly blue to no collar neighborhoods in K KS, are filled with beaner businesses as all residents speak “Spanish” or Spanglish at best.
There is Kansas City, Missouri and there is Kansas City, Kansas. Kansas City, Kansas, a Democratic hellhole is Wyandotte County, Kansas. Pretty poverty stricken and rough, lots of everybody, all skin tones, lots of blue collar, lots of unemployed, lots of drugs.
Kansas City Missouri is better. But there is lots of corruption, more money.
Meanwhile, this weekend in Chicago so far: 3 killed, 6 wounded. And Chi-Town now has over 400 homicides this year.
Not really, however over the last 10 to 15 (?) years the area has become heavily Hispanic. I would suspect that a Hispanic gang issue was the cause. Supposedly the owner would not allow the police to enter until a search warrant was produced. Also there appears to be multiple shooters. Regards alfa6 ;>}

The death of the deputy was apparently the result of a domestic issue and not related to the bar event.
The “suspect” called 911 and is in custody according to the KCK Police PIO.
