Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, who is worth an estimated $69 billion, stated in a recent internal Q&A that he sympathizes with Bernie Sanders view on billionaires, and agrees that no one deserves to have that much money.
CNBC reports that during a livestreamed employee Q&A call this week, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg discussed a number of topics including politics. Zuckerberg was asked to respond to Senator Bernie Sanderss comment that billionaires should not exist, and gave a surprising answer given that Zuckerberg himself is worth $69 billion.
I understand where hes coming from, Zuckerberg said. I dont know that I have an exact threshold on what amount of money someone should have but on some level no one deserves to have that much money.
Zuckerberg was also asked about comments he made during two separate leaked internal Q&A sessions he had with employees in July. Zuckerberg is quoted as saying: You have someone like Elizabeth Warren that thinks that the right answer is to break up the companies I mean, if she gets elected president then I would bet that we will have a legal challenge, and I would bet that we will win the legal challenge.
Zuckerberg adds: And does that still suck for us? Yeah. I mean, I dont want to have a major lawsuit against our own government. I mean, thats not the position that you want to be in when youre, you know, I mean
Its like, we care about our country, and want to work with our government and do good things. But look, at the end of the day, if someones going to try to threaten something that existential, you go to the mat and fight.

Well, it will certainly pay thebsalaies of a decent sized research staff to study a multitude of problems.
Being worth $69 billion means you can afford to throw away a bar of soap after you wear the letters off...
Imagine all the widows he could support with his excess after taxes?
Not only do those billions get invested as you point out, allowing the economy to grow, but all those mansions, yachts, private planes, etc., have to be built and maintained by working people.
Take yachts for instance. Virtue signalling people might say "nobody deserves a yacht while people are homeless" or some such nonsense as that. Yet if the rich stopped purchasing yachts, an entire industry will be wiped out, with many thousands of working people getting laid off and some of them will BECOME HOMELESS!
No one deserves to have that much money
Democrats agree give it to us or we will take it.
The man who gets to decide how much you deserve or get is your king. He owns both you and your money.
No matter how much money I’ve had, I always used plain bar soap to shave and I save the small slivers of soap and mold to a new bar.
I’m still saving up to buy a small country though.
This happened a few years ago; they imposed a new tax on yachts specifically and the industry moved offshore. And boatbuilders were put out of work.
HE IS A LIAR.
I asked a younger guy I work with this question yesterday after he was telling me how obscene the wealth of these people is. “What gives you the right to determine how much another person makes?” He had no answer, so I asked him again, “We make more than a lot of people do, what would you tell them if they starting screaming at us that what we make is obscene?”
He got the point. He’s a smart kid, just has never paid attention to politics at all and is only starting to look at things.
What is the incentive for anyone to produce or invest after reaching the 999 million mark under Bernie Sanders’ ideal administration? The moron Bernie has no clue about the practical consequences of his counter-productive policy proposals.
Sanders himself is such a hypocrite. It’s okay for him to make several million writing a fake-fraud-phoney book about his own worthless, lazy rear end. Sanders never had his first job until he became the worthless mayor of Burlington, Vt, in 1981 at age 39. For Bernie, taking a real job would be tantamount to “selling out to the man.” Then he has the chutzpah to say he “comes from the working class.” Earth to Bernie: to come from the working class, you actually have to have done some work.
“Our Revolution” indeed. It would be revolutionary for this Brooklyn born putz if he actually took a real job, which will never happen to this nasty old fart now that he has a major heart condition.
I got a warm feeling inside when I heard Bernie had serious heart trouble. This is the final nails in the coffin to make sure this Communist clown will never become president.
Whoever rids us of this guy is worth every penny of it.
Usually, after youngsters get their first paycheck and see all the deducts for FIT & FICA, they figure it out pretty quick.
For sure, I remember at how shocked I was!
And he's not very good at it, clearly his megalomania and his autism prevent him from buying into it.
