Pretty sure CNN thinks “damning” means “exculpatory”.

FROM THE ARTICLE:

RE: which alleged that Trump had urged the Ukrainian government to dig up dirt on his political rival, Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

My take:

CNN keeps calling it “dig up dirt”.

We should really call it for what it is — Discovering whether then VP Joe Biden was involved in a corrupt quid-pro-quo deal for his son when he demanded the firing of the Urkrainian prosecutor investing the Burisma deal for which Hunter Biden got $50,000 a month. This was SUBJECT TO the release of $1 Billion from the USA in aid.

The constitution tells us that The president must “take care that the laws be faithfully executed.” This clause in the Constitution imposes a duty on the president to enforce the laws of the United States and is called the Take Care Clause, also known as the Faithful Execution Clause or Faithfully Executed Clause.

So, the President, knowing that there was a quid-pro-quo deal involving a previous VP, wanting to get to the bottom of it, IS enforcing the law.

That it will be to the detriment on Biden’s campaign is beside the point.

If Trump could be investigated while he was campaigning, why shouldn’t Biden?

There’s nothing “damning” (CNN’s words ) about this.

What CNN is showing is they are not interested in investigating any corrupt dealings when it involves a Democrat who is running against Trump.

Christine Ballsy-Ford had trouble with “exculpatory,” as I recall.
