During the 5 winters I've lived here in the high desert of E. Washington, the earliest we've gotten snow was once in November, and it was a brutal winter. But most of our snow arrives just before Christmas and stays into early February.
But LAST year we didn't get a lick of snow until February and it snowed and snowed what seemed forever, a brutal winter it was well into March.
Our Fall weather has been mild, cold mornings and mild afternoons.
How about you?
Ouch! I bit my tongue ;)
LOL
I was wondering because I heard some parts in the higher elevations got snow already.
Word from NOAA is that we may have a mild winter again.
Right now, we’re waiting on the cold front moving this way. Next week will be in the 70s. Sweater weather soon.
