I know what you are saying, but I really don’t agree. For the most part, the more unified side is the stronger one. The only time I really saw the Dems punished at the ballot box was 1994 and 2010. So that is 2X in my entire adult life — so pretty rare. I also think they do see the consequences of their actions, but they are so twisted they think its a good thing.

My take is that, thanks to weakness and needless compromise, the Republicans have pi$$ed away many of their advantages. Their only current advantage is Trump. Why? Because he fights.

Sadly, too many Americans believe what the press has to say on any issue.. They just look stupid & corrupt to those who pay attention. Granted that number is growing, but far too slowly to keep up with the uneducated college graduates being churned out who think they are actually the smart Americans.
