Only been 5 hours since this video was posted - over 5,000 shares and thousands of positive comments regarding this man’s sincere display of God’s forgiveness and the powerful impact this is having in the grieving process and a bold message to the protesters who seek to spin this into a racists killing of a black man by a white female Police Officer. The narrative that seeks to prevail but this video speaks TRUTH to POWER !

Good for him forgiving her. But there was no excuse for her to being focused on her “texting while driving” activities with her co-worker that she was having a sexual relationship with instead of concentrating on driving up to the correct floor for parking where her apartment was located.

And then she breaks into the apartment instead of “calling a manager” or some other sensible solution first that people usually take if they notice they can’t get into an apartment.

And then worst of all she shoots the “burglar” instead of following standard police procedures of distancing yourself and calling for backup.

She was a bad cop with a really bad attitude and danger to society. She did 3 very reckless behaviors BEFORE she spotted the “burglar” and had plenty of opportunity to make sure that scenario wouldn’t have ever happened. And then worst of all she totally screwed up & then afterwards tried to make excuses dishonestly. She wasn’t your typical civilian. She was a cop with 4 years experience and should’ve known better.

I’m a firm believer in protecting the Second Amendment rights of people. But in the case of her she should never be allowed anywhere near a gun again in this life.

Wow. The brother of the victim is truly a follower of Christ. May God bless him and comfort him.

Botham Jean's brother Brandt hugs Amber Guyger after her sentencing, Oct 2, 2019.

Note the Judge wiping her eye at this time.

That was extraordinarily powerful. Thanks for posting it.

I pray that the Lord be with that young man to continue to help him and give him grace during this horrible time in his life. He is going to have a hard time, but he is looking in the right direction. For his sake, I'll offer my hope that the same grace comes to her.

My youngest daughter died in a car crash several years ago. It was a single-car accident, and a friend of hers was driving. I made sure to tell the young lady at the funeral that I certainly wasn't attaching guilt to her, because it was just an accident. The circumstances led me to the belief that the accident was mostly caused by inexperience, and know that it was as much a tragedy to her as it was to us.

The Lord gives you strength when you need it most.
