Arent most mass shooters Democrats?
Exactly...
We stay pretty close to the news, but have heard NOTHING like these numbers, EVER!
Any that occur outside of Chicago and are no black on black gang killings. Did you notice the 22 in Texas with not mention of Chicago, yet I can see one every weekend?
GI-GO (Garbage in Garbage out)
Dishonest definitions and dishonest comparison does not a valid study make.
That is simply a false premise wrapped in a falsehood of mixed comparison.
This is a “mass shooting” which is a sport:
http://www.knobcreekrange.com/events/featured-events/machine-gun-shoot
The KILLINGS are not a sporting event and shouldn’t be called “shootings”
Butt, yeah, we all know the drill.
4 or more shot (injured or killed) in a single event [incident], at the same general time and location, not including the shooter.
Though some lists do included the shooter.
Thank goodness the Dems decided to impeach Trump instead of doing “gun control” legislation.
The complete mass shooting list: https://www.gunviolencearchive.org/reports/mass-shooting
Coincidence. Shooters don’t check to see which party reps a place before pulling the trigger, FFS.
Well they should have broken it down further so we would have known how many chirrun under 2 live in those districts to make sure we all know they were at risk. How many baptist churches, how many catholic churches, how many satanic cult members in the district. Absurd waste of time. Not our tax dollars I hope. Just the hill money.
As long as congress is focused on impeachment, they aren't passing more bad laws. This is probably one of the best things to happen to us in decades.
My thought, too. Does in include murder/suicide within a family?
Not Chicago?
How about coloring the districts on a map of the USA?
When schoolchildren are taught how to hide from active shooters before being taught how to write their name, we know that we have a problem in this country with gun violence, said Rep. Elaine Luria (D-Va.), who represents the Virginia Beach community where a disgruntled city employee killed 12 people at a municipal building in May before being killed by police.
Teaching young children that they are at even a moderate risk of being involved in a mass shooting is nonsensical, considering that they are at a higher risk of death from drowning, or falling down the stairs, or a car crash, or a fire.
And then Rep. Luria's comment is juxtaposed with the details of a mass murder by a government employee. I wonder, do the teachers teach the children to be afraid of government employees, like the principal, or the school nurse, or some teacher deciding to shoot up the school?
The greatest mass murders are always perpetrated by government employees.
"More than 315 mass shootings have taken place this year alone, according to the Gun Violence Archive, which tracks incidents in which four or more people are injured or killed. Those shootings have claimed the lives of at least 346 people, and another 1,200 have been injured."
Under their definition, the average mass shooting results in one death. (346/315 = 1.09)
"The 18 mass shootings in Rep. Danny K. Daviss (D-Ill.) Chicago-based district have killed seven people and wounded 78; most of those incidents were likely gang or drug-related, Davis said."
So even though under their definition 18 of the 315 mass shootings happened in one Democrat's district where there are very strict gun control laws, the Democrat's want to apply those same kinds of laws to places where there were no mass shootings at all.
