It's enough for the press that the President of Ukraine was on the other end of the line when President Trump was saying all those impeachable things that Schiff told us about. They figure as long as the public continues to hear Ukraine, no matter the context, they'll be reminded of bad things about the President.

The problem for the Dems is that Trump wasn’t saying “impeachable things.” He was saying them openly, there was a recording, and Pompeo was listening, obviously as a witness.
Now Obama, when he whispered to Putin that he’d have “more flexibility” after the elections, thereby clearly signaling that Obama would help Putin if Putin helped Obama, was caught by accident and definitely saying “impeachable things.” But nobody cared.

You know and I know that the President wasn’t saying impeachable things, but how many people out there being stuffed like a goose heading for foie grasville with Trump said impeachable things, know it? The Obama more flexibility comment is a perfect example of the opposite: the media ignored it so most people ignored it. Even with the transcript of the call with Ukraine's president readily available, people still don't seem to go look for themselves but rather rely on the media telling them who recognize this and now label it as a "rough transcript" to raise doubts even if people do go read it for themselves.
