Barring the occasional lockstep a$$holes who just enjoy letting go with a zinger, I think it’s mainly just people who don’t think deeply enough about other people and their individual life experiences.

I doubt that there is any Black person in the US who hasn’t experienced mindless or thoughtless ‘racism’ at some point in their lives.

We have to make sure we are not part of that. It actually takes effort to put oneself in another’s shoes and try to see things from the viewpoint of THEIR experience.

“Conservatives” aren’t like liberals. We don’t have tactics/talking points handed down to us for deployment, ex: “make blacks feel welcome”.

We’re a herd of cats. Blacks are welcome, anyone’s welcome, don’t ask for special attention and don’t cry ‘racism’ when you don’t get it.

The violent crime rate by blacks is a fact, and one that has many and serious ramifications in American politics, not the least of which is the ongoing assault on our natural right to own firearms. Ignoring it is foolish.

What do we need to do to indicate we welcome the ‘black community’ except promise the freedom to be left alone from big government? The same government that has destroyed black families and made millions dependent on that government?

One of the first things we can do, and we can do it right on this website (which has been the premier Conservative venue on the Internet for decades) is to stop with the sloppy, smartass generalizations that we often see posted here about Black people.

I don't run the world, but I have at least a small voice here; and there is too much ugly innuendo, too many blanket statements, posted here.

Of course we do, on this very website. Count up the sly allusions to 'Amish' or 'affirmative action nincompoops' that you've seen. These allusions become collective memes.

The Conservative fold here isn't exempt from its own sins. A lot of the time it's just mindlessness - people trying to be 'part of the crowd' - but it all has an effect.
