I don’t think people are taking this for what a danger it is.

I trust Barr this much and in this way. If the crimes we all know were committed were a serious threat to the future of the country he would prosecute them. Since the entire coup and counter coup mess are in reality trivial to the future direction the people who actually are wealthy enough to buy outcomes in this country none of what so outrages us is actually relevant. So, in fact, what we are all up in arms about is trivial. Which would explain why he is not prosecuting anyone. It would be like stepping on ants to reduce your wait in TSA at the airport. They have nothing to do with each other. So why do you all want to waste so much effort stepping on ants?

Not that American public is by and large stupid and lazy, just that getting it to accept "bad orders" won;t work the same way it did in Germany.
