Having lived in the PRC I have serious doubts about the ability of the PRC to keep an army in the field for any length of time.

I’m not just blowing smoke either. I do a little bit of proof. The PRC can’t even make field rations that are eatable. This guy has eaten 3 different ones and each one was spoiled, even when not out of date.

The Japanese more than anyone else, made the PRC possible. Their brutality preempted all alternatives and China’s weakness stood out.

Only a strong and prosperous country can afford democracy. At some point, the transition will come about.

Chins is the last East Asian authoritarian holdout.

I think that one reason he found the curry chicken edible and the pork spoiled, is that curry acts as a preservative against spoilage.

Still, one would expect the Chinese military to deal with quality control by making the MRE factory managers and workers have to, periodically (maybe weekly), eat one year old samples of what they produced.

It indicates that you have widespread corruption.
