ashington (CNN)The intelligence community inspector general is forcefully pushing back against assertions made by President Donald Trump and several Republican lawmakers about the whistleblower complaint that has rocked Washington in recent weeks.
In a rare statement released Monday, the inspector general addressed a false claim pushed by Trump and some of his allies on Capitol Hill, including House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy of California and Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, that the whistleblower lacked firsthand knowledge of the conduct outlined in the complaint and therefore the allegations were based on "hearsay." But the statement from the inspector general made clear that the whistleblower was not simply communicating secondhand knowledge.

If it is so first hand why doesnt match phone call or other facts. Calling BS on this.
Beautiful, Brave and Brains.
Whack one mole, another pops up.
Bwahahahaha
Sure thing. 1) it ain’t a conspiracy theory
2) CNN declares John Brennan a saint
Oh interestingly?
CNN loves to throw the word debunk around when they need to disappear inconvenient facts.
Of course the IG found the complaint credible. But that ENTIRELY misses the point. He did so because days before it was filed the standard was changed to allow for heresay. The whistleblower himself says he has no direct knowledge.
CNN used the word debunk though so it must mean we can turn off our brains. At least they didnt use the words fact check. Then we really could have shut down.
“Debunked” seems to be a favorite word for dems. Questions about Hillary’s health are debunked, questions about Biden using his office to secure jobs for his son are debunked, anything untoward about the Clinton Foundation is also debunked.
But if you notice, ‘Trump collusion with Russia’ isn’t debunked. The Steele dossier is never referred to as ‘debunked’.
Agreed. I've been saying similar about ICIG Michael Atkinson for the past week. Much like it's not important the voters who cast the votes, but who counts the votes, it's not who's important the whistleblower making the complaint, but the IG who evaluates the whistleblower complaint. Now that Atkinson has decided to get into this publicly, he's fair game and needs to answer equally publicly not to whether it's hearsay or not, but whether what's alleged in the report is true as he evaluated it is or is the same pile of steaming lies that the Steele dossier is. He opened the door to doing this in public and that's where at least the Senate Republicans should engage him. It cannot be done in secret.

Drag two minutes of possible airtime through Langley and there’s no telling which seditious whore will jump in the enemedia boat !
The whistleblower has to be a member of the intelligence community so who in the IC authorized him/her to spy on the president?
That would be the only means of getting firsthand knowledge of the phone call.
Time to subpoena Gina Haspel.
Graham is asking whether whistleblower is associated with those who started spying on Trump. Lawyers don’t ask questions they don’t know answer to.
Ominous. I see that treasonous scumbag Brennan in this too. We were told he lost his clearance and then it came out he didnt l dont know which is true.
Graham is asking whether whistleblower is associated with those who started spying on Trump.
Did Graham just let the cat out of the bag? Hannity asked him if there is evidence spying on the Trump campaign was outsourced to other countries..His response
I dont know but we will find our more in 2 weeks’
WHAT HAPPENS IN 2 WEEKS?
Why didnt they wake Obama the eff up on 9/11/12 then?
See Fuhrer muss schlafen?
