Attorney General William P. Barr has held private meetings overseas with foreign intelligence officials seeking their help in a Justice Department inquiry that President Trump hopes will discredit U.S. intelligence agencies examination of Russian interference in the 2016 election, according to people familiar with the matter.

Good! He’s doing his job. (Don’t forget - Democrats are not to be investigated regardless of their dastardly deeds).
He will be prepared; as if that mattered, no answer will suffice.
You got that right! Over the target AT LAST! The flak could become thick...
From the article: “Current and former intelligence and law enforcement officials expressed frustration and alarm...”
Are these the same current and former officials that have been leaking fake news for the last three years?
Ha ha ha !
So what? Is that a crime or something?
What the MSM calls “discrediting”, we Americans call “finding out the truth”.
Logical, given we already have plenty of ties pointing tocorrupt liberals (but I repeat myself) butt-boinking with foreign gubmits.
What else is new?
They’re after Barr, and I hope he shreds them, incinerates the refuse, flushes it into the nearest septic tank, and launches the tank into the sun.
Involved? Up to his neck!
Or maybe you know nothing because no one is leaking.............
I hope you are right.
Given Barr’s inaction to date with data in the public domain, I will just say he’s so far just buying time. The exception to this might be that he’s digging deep into the deep state. If so, he needs to dig faster and deeper with more shovels.
Well duh - how else do you get information from foreign sources relevant to an investigation without asking for it? We’ve known this has been going on ever since Barr was sworn in.
Now the media is reporting it like this is a scandal - literally making the investigation of corruption into a scandal. Anything revealed will be reported as being a witch hunt and the taking of political prisoners akin to a dictatorship. That is exactly what they are setting up.
funny. thought that was what Barr/Durham were supposed to be doing.
“Good! He certainly should.”
Theoretically, if Bob Mueller had a nano-gram of integrity, he would have pursued the same and let the chips fall where they may. Now a duly elected POTUS is being compelled to pursue justice via his own administration against those who committed crimes against his very person. The US used to be a non-banana republic; the demokraps have caused great harm to our institutions, and the GOP has enabled through acquiescence. This did not happen overnight.
True, this has been building up for decades. It has been growing explosively in the last decade though.
PDJT's defending himself against false allegations is Obstruction of Justice!
Covering up the crimes of PIAPS is the right thing to do!
Investigating the corruption and crimes of the soetoro regime is Treason!/sarc
This answers two questions:
1. Are Barr and Durham actually investigating Obama admin corruption?
Yes!!
2. Why are the Democrats and their media minions losing their minds?
See #1.
There is nothing wrong with investigating possible crimes and asking for help from foreign governments in the investigation.
Barr is not doing this. Instead, he is asking who did and what they did.
It has been growing explosively in the last decade though.
