Impeachment without removal from office by senate is same as premature withdrawal. It has no lasting effect.

Note the Rats need 20 senate republicans to defect. How realistic is that?

Not at all. Assaulting POTUS and those who support him for the next year with an impeachment circus greatly benefits the Uniparty.
