Lying takes a lot of effort, telling the truth is easy. When you start lying you have to remember which lie you told which person, and as the truth begins to creep out, as it always does, you find yourself scrambling to twist it to fit back into your lie. Democrats, both in Congress and the media, are finding this out the hard way this week with their latest “Trump is corrupt and must be impeached” lie.

Almost everything about the allegations that have Democrats moving toward impeachment of the President is a lie, a proven lie. And they don’t care.
The call with Ukrainian President Zelensky did take place, so that part is true. From there, the lies begin.
“There was a quid pro quo” they said. The President threatened to withhold aid money from Ukraine unless Zelensky investigated Joe and Hunter Biden, we were told. The transcript showed that did not happen.
That fact did not stop any Democrat from saying it did. It did not stop anchors at CNN and MSNBC from saying it did.

To sway the American people ... and ... because they can get away with it ... and ... because they have no conscience.
They know the media will set the dialogue and reach numerous mutton headed idiots. This is the full on civil war we’ve talked about. The left believes it is strong and invincible; that our side is timid and will make meaningless big talk from behind our keyboards.

I have seen liberal publications lie about completely nonpolitical stories. It seems they all know that an uninformed public is easier to manipulate.

Remarkably, however, they simply continued to run with the narrative of the so-called “whistleblower report” on what was alleged to have been said rather than what we knew was actually said per the transcript. And the media just runs with it and reports it like that makes sense.
If they can’t lie, they would be out of business because they are incapable of being truthful on just about everything, especially in their own lives.

House impeachment is a done deal. What the dems want to do is drag the thing out in a three or four month Senate show trial.
Trump needs 50 Senators on his side to dismiss it outright in the Senate. I don’t see that happening but that is his goal. Kill it before a trial.
Rolling Thunder says it will descend on DC if impeachment is started. Nazi Pelosi some people are raising the anti.

You make a key point. The dems have free license to make anything up and it gets covered 24x7. It is a Soviet style propaganda machine. This is what they will do in a four month Senate trial with lots of Americans watching because it is historic.
