I think it really comes down to how much each of us is willing to do, versus how much others will do.
At some point, we need to look in the mirror and ask:
“Am I doing anything beside asking somebody (else) to do something?”
And
“What can I do?”
It may well be that real answer is nothing or very little, as I’m: too old, ill, slow, dumb, lazy, uneducated, ignorant, not good at organizing, speaking, writing, etc., etc.
But all I want people to do is ask themselves the question.
I would never demand anyone do something, just ask what can they do.
If you can do a little or a lot just do something. Even if it is just putting a sign in your yard it is more than most.
If you are not doing something you have no right to complain about those who are.
The Trump complainers drive me nuts since he is getting trashed 24/7/365 and some sanctimonious Conservative brings up something he hasn’t done to their liking. Coulter.
During the talks on how to spend Zer0’s stimulus I remember hearing Rangel saying something to the effect,
|| Don’t worry about the middle class. They’re too busy working, sending their kids to school.....||
you get the idea...and to a large extent he was - and still is - correct.
I’d venture that the vast majority of Trump supporters are the same way in that their lives simply couldn’t handle the disruption a trip to a DC demonstration would take. However, a trip to the local county courthouse on a weekday evening after work or on a weekend. would be quite doable.
To set a date and coordinate by time zone, the time and to spread the word, I am going to make the HUGE assumption that the national, state, county and local Republican committees (or whatever) would be willing to get the word out.
Costs would be non-existant as there would be no stage, no rostrum, no speakers, no signs, no bunting, no chanting, nothing but people coming together quietly in their own counties. Pretty sure that way, no permits will be needed. Local media could be alerted, but participants should say ONLY, “I’m here to support OUR President” if questioned by presstitutes.
NOTHING ELSE!
DO NOT engage the media in any other way.
The event would not have to be long, 30-45 minutes would be enough, and with 3,142 counties and county-equivalents in the 50 states and District of Columbia, it wouldn’t take that many at each to total a sizeable number and a strong impression.
When the courthouse clock signals the end, the people could sing “God Bless America” and be on their way.
Just a thought
