I really don’t think a casual experience with alcohol will cause psychosis It dulls the senses. Pot can send one on a mild trip ( or a heavy trip considering the quality improvement of modern breeds of pot). Pot heightens the senses and can make a weak mind overthink how screwed up they think their lives are. Too much booze will just put you to sleep.

. Just my opinion. I’m not a shrink nor do I play one on TV. I do have a modicum of experience with people on either drug.

Booze is a depressant ... and less than enough to put you to sleep can leave you "crying in your beer," to use a justifiably famous turn of phrase. I think the difference is less than you suppose.

Not really. Different people react differently to booze, just like pot. My long ago experience with pot was pretty uneventful - I have a high tolerance, and it didn't really do much until I built up and it just made me really tired. And decent stuff too - brought by a friend from CO who's really into the different strains and thc and cdb and htc and etc.
