We do not generate enough electricity to supplant gasoline locomotion. It will take generations to build sufficient generating capacity . . . . AND thousands of environmental waivers to facilitate the buildout.
Great idea Pocahontas. But don’t forget to boost the military budgets over those 16 years and probably well beyond. Someone has to pay for the WW3 campaigns against China, India, Europe, South America, the Mideast, South America and don’t forget Australia.
Nothing short of war will convince any of these countries to commit the economic suicide you have planned for the U.S.
