Sen. John N. Kennedy (R., La.) offered an alternate explanation for Hunter Biden's appointment to the board of Ukraine's largest gas company while his father served as vice president.
When MSNBC host Chuck Todd said there was no evidence of impropriety in the arrangement, Kennedy said he didn't believe the company found the vice president's son using the job search website, ZipRecruiter.

Dems would never try this impeachment stunt featuring Biden Jr. in a million years if they were not confident they had top cover from the GOP on this.
All this nonsense would be over in a day if he was required to testify before the Senate. The sleaze just oozes from Biden Jr. He’d be forced to take the 5th under oath. No doubt in my mind.
The media can ignore GOP Senators flapping their gums. They can’t ignore Biden Jr. taking the 5th in a public hearing. It’s that simple.

Hunter Biden’s success as a businessman has no more relationship to his being the son of Joseph Biden than Chelsea Clinton’s success is tied to her being the daughter of Mrs. and Mr. Hillary Rodham-Clinton.
All you have to do is look at her biography to see her success is COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT of her family connections - especially in the years after 2000:
