WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House is dusting off its playbook from the special counsel's Russia investigation.
Caught off guard by the speed at which a whistleblower's claims have morphed into an impeachment inquiry, President Donald Trump and his team are scrambling to respond.
They're turning, at least for now, to some of the same strategies they used to counter special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation.
The basic tactics deployed by the short-staffed White House: Attempt to discredit government officials at the heart of the story. Dispatch Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani and other allies to muddy the picture. Lean on Republicans in Congress to provide cover.
And, most of all, presidential counterattacks.

They dealt the death blow when they released everything to the public.
The “investigation” isn’t supposed to find anything. The ‘Rats know it’s bogus.
The investigation exists in order to be talked about.

I certainly hope they are NOT turning to the same strategies, such as turning over a million documents, tiptoeing around so as not to be accused of obstruction of justice, allowing the democrats full access to the White House top lawyer, and refusing to expose felonious activity of the deep state thugs by refusing to declassify classified documents.
It should be relatively easy to isolate the traitorous White House staff who cooperated with the CIA spy.
Just because the scumbags are shooting their mouth’s of again does not warrant much concern from the Whitehouse. Remember the old saying “consider the source”.

You’re right about blowing this up. The Rats were counting on executive privilege to allow them to drive a cover-up narrative. Trump pulled the rug out from under them and this new hoax goes nowhere.
Pelosi is so far behind the curve she was talking about a cover-up after all the documents and materials were released.
