Imagine if Horowitz gives Comey and his confederates a pass on the FISA abuses. That would set a precedent that its OK to lie to the FISA court, essentially negating our rights to any semblance of privacy.

That’s really chilling to me.

That’s a good point.

I don’t know about judges at that level, but you try pulling that trick on local courts and watch what happens.

If a judge got wind of it, he’d haul you back in and throw the book at you. At least that’s my take on it.

The FISA Court judges have by this point become part of the problem > IMO.

They have proven the FISA Courts safety measures are non-existent, which you alluded to. I certainly agree.
