The lead investigator in the wrong-apartment killing of an innocent man by a former Dallas police officer on trial for murder claimed on Wednesday that the officer did not commit a crime based on the totality of the evidence. The stunning pronouncement by Texas Ranger David Armstrong, the lead homicide investigator on the high-profile case, came while he was under cross-examination by an attorney for fired police officer Amber Guyger but not while the jury was present in the courtroom.

Click the first video and look at 0.25 mark. Never mind she had to go up to the floor above her apartment how did she not notice the bright red welcome rug? Also, never mind his apartment looked nothing like hers.
Walking into another person’s apartment and killing them while they’re sitting on the couch isn’t a crime??
And the motto to the story? The deceased should have been armed, had his weapon handy and been the first to open fire.
Do you know how she got into the apartment, since her key should not have worked?

Texas Ranger David Armstrong needs to be removed from his job and committed to a mental health institution. His brain doesn’t work properly.
The defense has grabbed hold of the idea of no intent to commit a crime. The issue should be that the man, even if she thought he was in her apartment, was not engaged in any activity that threatened her. She could have just as easily demanded to know why he was in her apartment as just shoot.
The wrong person died in that apartment ...
Intent goes to the murder charge. At a minimum this is manslaughter or criminally negligent homicide.
I saw something the other day that his door didn't properly catch.
According to the article, the door was ajar
So the DA overcharges her knowing he can't prove intent and she walks. One hand washing the other.
The investigator said the electronic door lock wasn’t working properly or it may not have been closed properly. He’s guessing but putting it down as fact.
Oh, and then she sues to get her job back.
It doesnt meet the legal elements of the crime. Mental culpability plays a decisive role.
Thousands of people every year are KILLED on the roads of America, nearly all of them due to an error made by a driver. Why arent criminal charges brought up in these?
If she was just an average citizen, it would be a crime.

I think the cop and the victim had prior trysts, or perhaps she fell in love with him and he was only using her for sex.. She's not a bad looking woman and she has a nice figure as well. Hmmm..
She went out and got drunk, became enraged about feeling 'used'. She went to his apartment and shot him DEAD.
